It is extremely helpful to have a Conference with Jason prior to the hearing. This will allow Jas the opportunity to consider the case, what you are seeking and what evidence you have for the best outcome. Jason may also need to prepare a Position Statement for the court to set out in a persuasive fashion your case and what you are looking for from the proceedings. Jason would also usually try to take to the opponent or their lawyer prior to the hearing, or at the hearing.

Jason will have to read all of the court papers, and these should where possible be sent to him in good time.

Jason can also give advice on the drafting of important court documents, court forms and Scott Schedules.
